American a post-punk/indi group Gossip was formed in 1999 in small town Sirsi, the State of Arkansas. The group included three musicians: the vocalist and the author of songs of Beth Ditto, guitar Brace Paine and drummer Hannah Kathy Mendonca. Brace and Bet their general girlfriend Hanna who as a result and began to play drums in their general command has acquainted. Rural Sirsi, was too small, for development of musical potential of this Trinity and the same year they have moved to the city of Olympia, the State of Washington. There they also have signed the contract with independent label K Records on which soon left with the same name EP Gossip.

On January, 23rd 2001 leaves the first album which has received name That’s Not What I Heard, debut work was let out by label Kill Rock. Next year, on May, 7th there is the second EP Arkansas Heat. And it is equal in a year, on May, 6th there is a second album Gossip which they named Movement. Hide review
